Sermicro Group has won the project for the Migration of WAN infrastructure for the Directorate General of Insurance and Pension Funds.

This project consists of providing a complete turnkey service for the migration of communications and security systems so that the Directorate General of Insurance and Pension Funds can move its headquarters.

To carry it out, Sermicro Group has designed a migration plan focused on minimizing the impact that the necessary service stop may cause, getting the project executed in the shortest time possible and with the maximum guarantee of operation of the new network in a fast, reliable and resilient way.

The project consists of several phases that must be perfectly coordinated in order to meet the demanding deadlines requested by the Consortium:

• Detailed engineering, for the collection of information and definition of the new physical and logical network topology

 

• Equipment preconfiguration, made in Sermicro Group's own laboratory.

 

• Physical installation of new equipment, including LAN connectivity testing.

 

• Migration of the WAN infrastructure, applying the necessary security policies and securing all accesses

 

• Moving coordination and network expansion, including the corresponding updates.

 

• Migration of the remaining equipment with implementation of high availability of all systems

 

• Transfer of knowledge and delivery of end of project documentation, with training sessions on the assembled infrastructure.
