The Sermicro Group has won the project to provide professional services for the supply of equipment, logistics and training for Prison Work and Employment Training, under the General Secretariat of Penitentiary Institutions.

This project consists of two parts, on the one hand, the supply of terminals with magnetic stripe reading card and bar code reader for the prison commissaries, as well as logistical services for the collection of equipment that cannot be repaired.

On the other hand, the free training of the inmates themselves in the electronics workshop of the Ocaña I penitentiary centre, so that they themselves have the capacity to carry out all the repairs, platforming and cloning that this equipment requires, thus becoming the official technical service for the rest of the penitentiary centres.

An important objective in this project

This training work, carried out by the Sermicro Group's own staff in a totally altruistic way, also offers remote support and even travel to the prison if necessary, so that inmates can acquire important practical and useful experience in the repair of electronic equipment and thus have a training and preparation that will facilitate their future integration into the labour market.
