Sermicro Group has carried out the firewall migration project for a major retail company in the publishing sector. The implemented solution is the first barrier against possible attacks, helping to prevent the infrastructure from being compromised.

Project Phases

For the correct development of these professional services, it was necessary to structure the project in different phases:

• Engineering, where the work to be carried out was planned, with a backup of the current configuration.
• Pre-configuration of the new firewall, with verification tests and assembly in the assigned DPC rack.
• Putting into production, where the equipment was migrated and the necessary rewiring was carried out.
• Monitoring, which verified that there were no connectivity incidents between the different updated network segments. This phase was carried out from the CYSE SOC.
• Documentation, with delivery, among others, of the inventory of the installed equipment, the topology and logical architecture diagrams, the backup of the final configurations, etc.
